Huge thanks to Bonnie Drew and the entire Drew/Huffman family. They donated $605 to the Mayo Clinic - Esophageal Cancer Department and were gifted the NLDS Game 2 Playoff Ticket!

How they won...

1)    YOU want a great seat (Section 233, Row 11, Seat 6) at Game 2 of the NLDS @               Wrigley Field this Saturday, October 8th - 7:08pm, next to die-hard Cubs                   fan/Billy Goats for Throats founder, Anna Patras

2)    You bid to WIN this seat

3)    You HOPE you have the highest bid! The highest bid will be announced at 6:00                  pm CT this Friday, October 7th

4)    You make the DONATION of your bid amount and the ticket is all yours! 100%                  of your bid amount goes directly to the Mayo Clinic Esophageal Cancer                      Department through the Billy Goats for Throats Foundation.

5)    You didn’t have the highest bid, but still want to support a great cause?

Donation pledges through this fundraiser event

Necessary, but maybe even too many details: The ticket will be hand-delivered in Wrigleyville whenever it is most convenient on Game day Saturday (or the night before, if preferred)! My brother and I will be your seat neighbors, so plenty of great Cubs analysis and cheering (you aren't going to the game solo).

Logistically the donation process is a breeze through our protected Mayo Clinic - Goats for Throats donation page. Upon making your donation, you will receive a confirmation "thank you" email directly from the Mayo Clinic and this will be your proof of donation. In about 2-3 weeks you will also receive your receipt from the Mayo Clinic that is approved for tax purposes.

FAQ:

Q: I placed my pledged donation amount in the comments, do I have to donate that money before the bidding closes in order to be eligible?

A: NO! I understand that the bidding is high, so if you don't get the ticket, you might not be able to donate $XXX. Therefore, the only donation that needs to be made is the winner (highest pledge) before 9:00pm on Friday, October 7th after the bidding has closed. Of course, it is encouraged and would be great if you would like to donate any amount via our Mayo Clinic - Goats for Throats donation page.

Q: Do I have to donate AND pay for the price of the ticket?

A: NO! Ticket is covered - your donation is 100% given to the Mayo Clinic Esophageal Cancer Department - Goats for Throats.

Q: How much is the ticket worth?

A: As of Tuesday, Game 2 tickets in Section 233 are going for an average price of $364 + $50 est. in tax and fees on StubHub for a grand total over $400. They are projecting this October's playoff tickets to be the most expensive in baseball history with World Series Standing Room Only tickets currently listed over $2,000. This could be your only chance at getting a seat in Wrigley during this historic season.
